Supports institutional programs that provide research experiences, curriculum development, and outreach activities focused on cancer for grades 6-12 and undergraduate students. Programs may also include research experiences for teachers and faculty to promote interest in biomedical research careers. The goal is to inspire and prepare students for cancer-focused biomedical research through early intervention and tailored educational activities.
Eligible applicants include public housing authorities, school districts, state and local governments, higher education institutions, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, tribal governments, and various minority-serving institutions. Foreign organizations and foreign components are not eligible.
