This program funds domestic institutions to develop and implement effective, evidence-informed biomedical graduate training and mentoring programs. Funded activities include didactic instruction, research training, and career development to prepare trainees for impactful careers in health-related research addressing national needs.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S.-based institutions such as nonprofits, public and private higher education institutions, tribal governments, small businesses, and various other organizations. Non-domestic entities and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
