This funding supports investigator-initiated, multisite clinical trials and observational studies leveraging NICHD clinical research Network infrastructure focused on infants, children, women, pregnant and lactating women, and persons with disabilities. The bi-phasic UG3/UH3 mechanism includes a start-up phase and a full enrollment and clinical trial implementation phase, requiring milestone achievement and collaboration with NICHD-supported Data Coordinating Centers.
