This funding opportunity supports research projects that investigate the ethical, legal, and social implications of human genetics and genomics. Funded studies may employ empirical qualitative and quantitative methods, conceptual, legal, and normative analyses, and encourage direct involvement of key stakeholders. A Plan for Enhancing Diverse Perspectives is required for all applications, ensuring diverse viewpoints are integrated into the research.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as independent school districts, governments, nonprofits, for-profits, tribal organizations, institutions of higher education, and others including federal agencies and foreign entities.
