This funding opportunity supports exploratory and developmental research projects studying the ethical, legal, and social implications of human genetics and genomics. Applications may use qualitative, quantitative, conceptual, legal, or normative methods, including mixed approaches. Projects that involve key stakeholders and address new or emerging genomic technologies or novel uses of genomic information are especially encouraged.
Eligible applicants include public and private institutions of higher education, nonprofits, for-profit organizations (excluding small businesses), tribal governments and organizations, government entities at various levels, and small businesses within the United States.
