This grant supports exploratory and developmental research on the ethical, legal, and social implications of human genetics and genomics. Funded projects may use empirical qualitative and quantitative methods, conceptual, legal, and normative analyses, and should involve key stakeholders when appropriate. Emphasis is on studies exploring new or emerging genomic technologies or novel uses of genomic information. Applications are due by November 18, 2026.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as Native American tribal governments, nonprofits, small businesses, educational institutions, government entities, and others including foreign organizations and regional bodies.
