This grant funds Partnership Planning, Short-Term Planning, State Planning, and Local Technical Assistance projects that support economic development, job creation, and private investment in economically distressed U.S. regions. Eligible activities include developing Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies and conducting feasibility studies, impact analyses, disaster resiliency plans, and project planning. Applications must be submitted via the EDGE platform.
Eligible applicants include county, city, township, and special district governments; Native American tribal governments; nonprofits (both 501(c)(3) and non-501(c)(3)); institutions of higher education; state governments; and district organizations engaged in economic development.
