The 2022 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund supports alumni teams in North Macedonia to design and implement innovative public service projects. Funded themes include business transparency, climate awareness, media and digital literacy, AI and cybersecurity, energy security, and promoting inclusion of women and minorities. Projects must be completed within 12 months and contribute to North Macedonia's democratic and economic development.
Applicants must be alumni of U.S. government-funded or sponsored exchange programs. Project teams require at least two alumni. U.S. citizen alumni may participate but cannot submit proposals. Projects must be implemented outside the U.S.
