This grant funds planning and local technical assistance projects that support economic development, job creation, and private investment in economically distressed U.S. regions. Activities include developing Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies, conducting feasibility studies, impact analyses, disaster resiliency plans, and project planning. Eligible recipients include district organizations, tribal governments, state and local governments, institutions of higher education, and nonprofits working with political subdivisions.
