This funding supports Partnership, Short-Term, and State Planning awards to develop and implement regional economic development strategies. It also funds Local Technical Assistance projects like feasibility studies and disaster resiliency plans to strengthen local economic development capacity. Applications must be submitted via the EDGE platform, targeting eligible governments, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; federally recognized Native American tribal governments; public and private institutions of higher education; and nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, excluding institutions of higher education.
