This funding supports Partnership, Short-Term, and State Planning awards to create and implement regional economic development plans that build capacity and guide economic prosperity in distressed U.S. regions. It also funds Local Technical Assistance projects such as feasibility studies, impact analyses, and disaster resiliency plans to strengthen local economic development efforts.
Eligible applicants include public and state-controlled higher education institutions, nonprofits (both 501(c)(3) and non-501(c)(3)), state and local governments, Native American tribal governments, and special district governments. Specific eligibility details are provided in the full notice.
