This grant supports Partnership, Short-Term, and State Planning awards to develop and implement regional economic development strategies. It also funds Local Technical Assistance projects like feasibility studies and disaster resiliency plans to strengthen local economic development capacity in distressed U.S. areas.
Eligible applicants include special district, county, city, township, and state governments; federally recognized Native American tribal governments; nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education); and public/state controlled institutions of higher education
