This award provides three to five years of research support and protected time for early career scientists from low- or middle-income countries holding junior faculty positions. It funds mentored career development and research projects relevant to their country's health priorities. Applicants cannot lead independent clinical trials but may gain experience in trials led by mentors. The goal is to foster independent research careers at LMIC institutions.
