This program supports fundamental research to understand fluid dynamics phenomena through experiments, theory, and computation. Topics include turbulence, bio-fluid physics, non-Newtonian fluids, bubble dynamics, micro/nanofluidics, renewable energy fluid dynamics, fluid-structure interactions, canonical configurations, AI/machine learning in fluid dynamics, and instrumentation development. Proposals must demonstrate novelty and transformative potential and comply with NSF guidelines.
Open to all types of entities without restrictions. Eligibility is broad and includes academic, nonprofit, government, and industry researchers. Contact the program for any additional clarifications.
