This funding opportunity supports innovative basic research projects investigating the biological and genetic bases of cancer health disparities. It encourages mechanistic studies, development and testing of new methodologies and models, and secondary data analyses. The grant also aims to build a nationwide cohort of scientists with expertise in cancer health disparities to expand research resources such as biospecimens and patient-derived models.
