The award aims to help investigators obtain preliminary data for future R01 grant applications.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S. organizations such as nonprofits, small businesses, institutions of higher education, tribal governments, public housing authorities, and various government entities. Eligibility is broad but limited to U.S.-based entities.
