This program provides grants to Alaska Native regional and village corporations, federally recognized Tribes, and related entities to address contamination on lands transferred under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act. Funded activities include site assessment, remediation, and community outreach to mitigate health risks and support subsistence and economic activities. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
Eligible applicants include Alaska Native regional and village corporations, federally recognized Tribes in Alaska, Alaska Native nonprofit associations, and inter-tribal consortia of Alaskan tribal entities. Contact program managers before applying.
