This grant supports creative educational activities emphasizing courses for skills development in cancer research. Funded programs should address cancer causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, or continuing care, enhancing workforce training in biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research areas. Clinical trials are not allowed under this funding.
Eligible applicants include state, city, county, and special district governments; tribal organizations; public and private higher education institutions; nonprofits; for-profit organizations; small businesses; and independent school districts in the United States.
