This grant supports Partnership, Short-Term, and State Planning awards to develop and implement regional economic development strategies, as well as Local Technical Assistance projects like feasibility studies and disaster resiliency plans. It targets organizations serving economically distressed U.S. areas to foster job creation, attract private investment, and build economic capacity. Applications must be submitted via the EDGE platform.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits (501(c)(3) and others), city, county, state, and special district governments, Native American tribal governments, and public/state-controlled institutions of higher education. Eligibility is limited to entities serving economically distressed U.S. regions.
