Supports research education activities that enhance understanding of biomedical research among pre-kindergarten to grade 12 students. The award encourages awareness of and sustained interest in STEM careers through educational programs. Clinical trials are not allowed under this funding opportunity.
Eligible applicants include various government entities, nonprofit organizations, private and public institutions of higher education, independent school districts, and small businesses. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
