Funds pilot clinical trials to adapt and optimize behavioral sleep interventions targeting adolescents and young adults with or at risk for mental health disorders. Research should assess feasibility, safety, acceptability, and preliminary effectiveness on sleep and mental health outcomes, including mechanisms of action. Interdisciplinary teams from mental health, sleep medicine, developmental science, and related fields are encouraged to apply.
Eligible applicants include small businesses, various government entities, nonprofit organizations, and institutions of higher education across the United States. Both federally recognized and other Native American tribal organizations may apply.
