This opportunity funds pilot clinical trials to adapt and optimize behavioral sleep interventions targeting adolescents and young adults with or at risk for mental health disorders. Projects should evaluate feasibility, safety, acceptability, and preliminary effectiveness on sleep and mental health outcomes, and explore mechanisms of intervention impact. Interdisciplinary teams from mental health, sleep medicine, developmental science, and related fields are encouraged.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S.-based organizations such as nonprofits, small businesses, educational institutions, government entities, and tribal organizations. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
