This funding supports academic community site consortia led by academic centers with networks of community hospitals and oncology practices. The focus is on cancer control, prevention, screening, treatment, and care delivery research, enhancing participant diversity and representativeness. Clinical trials (UG1) are not allowed under this award, but human subjects research and quality-of-life studies are supported.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as academic institutions, nonprofits, tribal organizations, government entities, small businesses, and healthcare centers serving diverse patient populations.
