This funding opportunity supports the development and modernization of shared-use biomedical and HIV/AIDS research facilities that enable collaborative research and serve broad scientific communities. It funds construction or upgrades of core facilities, biorepositories, and other shared resources aligned with NIH Office of AIDS Research priorities, including long-term health consequences of HIV infection. Applications from institutions nationwide, including emerging excellence institutions, are encouraged.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public housing authorities, county and state governments, small businesses, tribal organizations, educational institutions, and for-profit organizations other than small businesses. Foreign organizations and components are not eligible.
