This program funds Design- and Implementation-phase Quantum Science and Technology Demonstration projects under the National Quantum Virtual Laboratory initiative. It supports use-inspired quantum technology development, education, workforce strategies, and outreach. Proposals must build on prior Pilot or Design projects and include engagement with diverse sectors, including industry and federal partners, to accelerate quantum technology translation and impact.
Eligibility is open to a broad range of organizations with expertise in quantum information science and engineering, including industry partners and other U.S. Federal agencies. Prospective principal investigators must coordinate with the program officer prior to submission.
