Supports research education activities that complement and enhance training of a workforce to meet biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs. The program helps recruit individuals with specialized backgrounds to research careers and fosters understanding of biomedical and clinical research. Eligible organizations must demonstrate institutional commitment and provide adequate resources. Foreign organizations and components are not eligible.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, institutions of higher education, independent school districts, for-profit organizations (excluding small businesses), government entities, tribal organizations, and small businesses. Foreign organizations and foreign components are not eligible.
