Supports cutting-edge Antarctic research requiring logistical support from the U.S. Antarctic Program. Funded projects improve understanding of Antarctic and Southern Ocean processes, their linkages to global Earth systems, and environmental change. The program advances fundamental knowledge of Antarctic systems and builds capacity for polar science workforce. Fieldwork support is limited to research best performed in Antarctica and must comply with USAP logistical guidance.
Eligibility is open to others as specified in additional information. Applicants must require logistical support from the U.S. Antarctic Program for fieldwork in Antarctica.
