This award supports promising graduate students as they complete their doctoral research and transition into mentored postdoctoral career development opportunities in research areas relevant to NIH missions. Candidates cannot lead independent clinical trials but may engage in trials led by others. Eligible applicants include various U.S.-based organizations and institutions; foreign organizations are not eligible to apply.
