This opportunity funds the creation of a national coordinating center to support the Research Centers in Minority Institutions (RCMI) initiative. The center will coordinate activities across RCMI U54 Centers, evaluate the program's impact, and serve as a resource to help these centers achieve their goals. It will respond to requests from RCMI personnel, NIH, and the scientific community, enhancing minority health research coordination and evaluation.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S. institutions such as public and private higher education institutions, government entities, nonprofits, small businesses, and tribal organizations. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
