This single source cooperative agreement funds the renewal of the Integrated Islet Distribution Program to provide human islet resources critical for diabetes research. The program supports partnerships with islet isolation facilities to distribute human islets, facilitating research on islet biology and development of new therapies for type 1 diabetes. The award supports continuation of this essential resource under the Special Diabetes Program.
Only the principal investigators associated with the prior award to Beckman Research Institute/City of Hope are eligible. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
