Supports research projects requiring access to specialized instrumentation and facilities sponsored by the Facilities for Atmospheric Research and Education (FARE) Program. Proposals are accepted under three tracks: Education and Outreach, Single Facility Requests, and Field Campaigns. The solicitation enables parallel evaluation of intellectual merit, broader impacts, and project feasibility. Preference is given to proposals within the Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences, with guidance provided for submissions outside this division.
Eligibility is unrestricted, open to any type of entity, subject to additional clarifications in the solicitation. Applicants should contact the program director for proposals outside the Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences.
