This funding opportunity supports research aimed at optimizing, adapting, and implementing empirically-supported mental health interventions for older adults living with serious mental illness (SMI). Funded projects may address treatment effectiveness, barriers to care access, systems-level policies, and strategies to improve care coordination across settings such as primary care, geriatric clinics, assisted living, and community centers.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as independent school districts, county and state governments, federally recognized tribal governments, public and private higher education institutions, nonprofits, small businesses, for-profit organizations, and housing authorities.
