This opportunity funds projects that help communities recover economically from hurricanes, wildfires, tornadoes, floods, and other disasters in 2023 and 2024. It supports readiness projects to prepare for recovery funding, implementation projects addressing economic challenges, and industry transformation projects led by regional coalitions to accelerate economic growth beyond pre-disaster conditions.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education), Native American tribal governments, independent school districts, county and city or township governments, and others as specified.
