This program funds the development and implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment interventions within military health systems of foreign countries. It prioritizes evidence-based approaches aligned with PEPFAR and national strategies, capacity building for military ownership, expansion of testing and treatment to meet global targets, reduction of mother-to-child transmission, combination prevention strategies, stigma reduction, and transition to local partners to ensure sustainability and epidemic control.
