This award supports individuals with clinical doctoral degrees committed to patient-oriented research by providing mentored career development funding. It excludes independent clinical trials and aims to foster clinical research careers through structured mentorship and research activities.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as nonprofits, governments, institutions of higher education, small businesses, tribal organizations, and others. Foreign organizations are generally not eligible except for foreign components of U.S. organizations.
