This opportunity provides emergency competitive revision funding to existing NIH awards in response to presidentially declared disasters or public health emergencies. Applications must be submitted in response to Emergency Notices of Special Interest (NOSIs) and are routed directly to the NIH awarding component. The funding supports supplemental research activities, including clinical trials optionally, to address urgent public health needs.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as small businesses, institutions of higher education, tribal governments, nonprofits, and various government entities. Eligibility is limited to those responding to Emergency NOSIs published by NIH components.
