This award provides support to mid-career health-professional doctorates for protected time to conduct patient-oriented research and to mentor clinical residents, fellows, and junior clinical faculty. It requires an independent clinical trial and supports research mentorship primarily in clinical settings.
Open to mid-career health-professional doctorates at eligible U.S. institutions including nonprofits, academic institutions, government entities, and small businesses. Foreign organizations and non-domestic components are generally ineligible.
