This opportunity funds biologic-based therapeutic discovery and development targeting nervous system disorders, including proteins, antibodies, peptides, gene-based therapies, cell therapies, and emerging microbial therapies. Awardees collaborate with NIH consultants and may use NIH contract research organizations for manufacturing, pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and phase I clinical testing.
