This award supports emerging global leaders at academic or research institutions in low- and middle-income countries to develop independent clinical trial research careers. Applications must comply with clinical trials policy and exclude certain upper-middle-income G20 countries. The program aims to build research capacity in eligible foreign institutions.
Eligible applicants are academic or research institutions in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) as defined by the World Bank. Only non-U.S. entities may apply; U.S. organizations' non-domestic components are ineligible. Excludes upper-middle-income G20 countries except Sub-Saharan Africa.
