This opportunity funds Clinical Coordinating Centers to lead investigator-initiated, multi-site Phase III and beyond clinical trials on natural products including botanicals, probiotics, and dietary supplements. Funded activities include developing scientific rationale, operational planning, project management, participant recruitment, milestone tracking, and dissemination of results. Applications require simultaneous submission with a Data Coordinating Center proposal and utilize a milestone-driven cooperative agreement mechanism.
Eligible applicants include Native American tribal governments, public and private institutions of higher education, state and local governments, nonprofits, small businesses, and for-profit organizations. Both Clinical Coordinating Center and Data Coordinating Center applications must be submitted
