This funding supports research projects that utilize the unique PLCO Biospecimens resource to advance understanding of cancer etiology and early detection biomarkers. Projects should involve biochemical, genetic, or biomarker analyses using high-quality, prospectively collected biospecimens and associated data from the PLCO Screening Trial. Research not involving PLCO biospecimens will not be supported.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S. organizations such as nonprofits, tribal governments, educational institutions, government entities, and small businesses. Specific eligibility details are provided in the announcement.
