This grant supports habitat restoration projects in the Great Lakes basin that contribute to the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative's goals, focusing on toxic substance management and restoring habitats for native fish species. Priority is given to projects identified by Lake Committees to sustain healthy fish populations in the eight U.S. Great Lakes states. Eligible applicants include educational institutions, non-profits, commercial entities, and tribal and local governments, excluding federal agencies.
