This award assists postdoctoral fellows in transitioning to assistant professor or equivalent roles to initiate independent biomedical research careers. It funds career development and research activities but excludes independent clinical trials. Eligible applicants include a broad range of U.S.-based institutions and organizations, excluding non-domestic entities and foreign organizations.
Eligible applicants include postdoctoral fellows transitioning to faculty positions at a wide range of institutions including nonprofits, government entities, small businesses, and various educational institutions. Non-domestic entities and foreign organizations are not eligible.
