This funding opportunity supports clinical trials that test the effectiveness of therapeutic, preventive, and services interventions for mental health in community and practice settings. Trials must be adequately powered, address significant problems, and examine mechanisms underlying intervention effects. The collaborative R01 mechanism supports multisite trials to enhance sample size, diversity, and recruitment speed, focusing on improving access, quality, equity, and value of mental health services.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as nonprofits, for-profits, government entities, educational institutions, tribal organizations, and others including faith-based and community-based organizations, and foreign entities.
