This opportunity funds pilot research focused on developing and testing novel psychosocial therapeutic and preventive interventions for mental disorders. It requires clinical trials and emphasizes the experimental therapeutics approach to speed translation of basic, behavioral, cognitive, affective, and neuropsychological science into effective interventions. Up to three years of support is provided to replicate target engagement and assess its impact on clinical outcomes.
