This award provides salary support for exceptional Research Software Engineers who contribute to the development, dissemination, and training related to biomedical, behavioral, or health-related software, tools, and algorithms. Clinical trials are excluded. The funding supports activities that enhance software tools and train prospective users in relevant health domains.
