This program funds visionary international multilateral research partnerships that address urgent global challenges requiring collaboration across at least three countries, including the U.S. It supports projects leveraging diverse expertise and infrastructure to achieve impactful advances beyond what narrower teams can accomplish. Proposals must include diverse U.S. institutions and individuals and fall outside existing OISE or directorate programs. Funding supports the U.S. research team for up to three years.
