This funding supports investigator-initiated early phase (Phase 0, I, II) clinical trials focused on cancer-targeted diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Projects must involve at least one clinical trial related to NCI research programs such as Cancer Therapy Evaluation, Imaging, Diagnosis, Radiation Research, Complementary Medicine, or HIV/AIDS Malignancies. Trials may be conducted alone or combined with other research aims, advancing cancer treatment and diagnosis.
Eligible applicants include public/state institutions of higher education, nonprofits, tribal organizations, private institutions, various government entities, small businesses, and for-profit organizations. See official guidelines for full details.
