This funding supports UG3/UH3 phased cooperative agreement applications to plan and implement behavioral and social intervention clinical trials targeting dental, oral, or craniofacial conditions. The UG3 phase focuses on scientific and operational planning activities over up to 2 years, including feasibility studies and protocol development. Successful projects transition to the UH3 phase, which supports clinical trial implementation for up to 5 years, covering all stages from early intervention development to cost-effectiveness research.
Eligible applicants include state, city, county, and tribal governments, for-profit organizations (excluding small businesses), nonprofits, institutions of higher education, small businesses, and various other specified organizations.
