This opportunity funds applications for change of recipient organization status, known as Successor-In-Interest, for specific NIH grants. It enables organizations holding eligible NIH awards to request transfer of grant management to a new entity. Applications are considered prior approval requests and reviewed by NIH Grants Management Specialists. Applicants are encouraged to consult with the awarding Institute or Center before submission. There is no guarantee of award transfer.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as public housing authorities, school districts, governments at various levels, small businesses, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, institutions of higher education, tribal organizations, and certain federal and regional entities.
