This award funds institutional research career development programs designed to prepare a diverse pool of later stage postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty scholars for independent careers in clinical and translational science. Funded activities include innovative program development to facilitate timely career advancement and sustained research engagement across academia, industry, nonprofit, and government sectors.
Eligible applicants are public and state-controlled institutions of higher education. Individual applicants are not eligible. The program targets institutions committed to developing clinical and translational science researchers.
