This funding opportunity supports cooperative agreements for clinical trials in communication disorders that require FDA oversight, aim to formally establish efficacy, or involve higher risk of physical or psychological harm. It funds well-designed and executed clinical trials in collaboration with an NIDCD Project Scientist to identify effective interventions for treatment or prevention.
Eligible applicants include small businesses, tribal organizations, state and local governments, nonprofits, institutions of higher education, and other specified entities. Non-domestic entities and non-domestic components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
