This funding supports innovative and interdisciplinary research teams conducting clinical, health services, or community-based interventions to reduce health and healthcare disparities related to non-communicable and chronic diseases with high burden in Latin America and U.S. Hispanics/Latinos. Teams must collaborate with at least one principal investigator from Latin American institutions, fostering multinational partnerships to improve health outcomes across the hemisphere.
